Security Service Agent Accused of Selling State Secret for BTC

French police has reported to have arrested an intelligence service agent who is charged with intentional disclosure of state secrets in dark web for BTC.
Member of the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Intérieure (DGSI) whose identity is still unknown was arrested 48 hours after alleged selling of economic data and falsifying some important state documents.
The accused one communicated with organized criminal group and economic experts, but, according to the French media, criminals did not mean any kind of terrorist action.
The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police has detected the data leaking and later traced the agent’s activity in the net via his code as well as the data request source.
The crime net the suspect had ties to was found by the country’s illegal immigration service. It is yet not clear what kind of information was sold exactly, but if the agent is found guilty he will be jailed and pay a 100,000-euro-fine.
