US Government Allocates $800,000 for Blockchain Project

The US authorities have decided to invest $800,000 in the project by the University of California-San Diego researchers who want to develop a blockchain platform.
The investment was made by the National Science Foundation (NSF) that distributes funds for innovational startups.
Subhashini Sivagnanam, a software developer in the Data Enabled Scientific Computing division, won the sponsorship. As he told, the funds will be spent for the initiative named ОSС. The startup will provide quick access for the data gained from various experiments and side projects and verify them.
The NSF has already rendered assistance for youthful blockchain startups. Financing this initiative is to last for 36 months.
