August 9, 2018
Libra, auditing services provider for crypto assets, has closed a B-series financing round of 15 million dollars thus having raised in total $24.8 million.
The news is bound to gain attention of financial institutions interested in spreading cryptocurrency use as Libra is focused on transforming crypto transaction data in auditing-ready information for financial institutions.
“Libra’s mission is to provide a system of record that allows institutions with crypto transactions to meet the reporting requirements of managers, investors, auditors and regulators,” said Jake Benson, the founder and CEO of Libra.
The company is going to use its financing to support its platform Libra Crypto Office in addition to its new products that are to be released later this year. The Libra service will automatize audit, accounting and taxation processes for exchange, trade operations, funds, fund administrators and enterprises.
