Taiwan Central Bank: Future Lies In Blockchain

Yang Chin-long, a new head of Taiwan Central Bank, has stated, the bank will be open for exploring blockchain.
At the end of January Taipei has claimed, they plan turning into a smart city by partnering up with IOTA and use blockchain for technological improvements like pollution sensors or health condition monitoring for citizens.
Yang Chin-long has affirmed, the Central Bank will keep options open for using AI technologies and big data analysis for better prediction of global economic conditions.
“In addition, the bank will also try to explore the feasibility of enhancing the security and efficiency of payment systems using decentralized ledger technology [Blockchain]”.
In October 2017 Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan (FSC) has announced it is supporting ICO, cryptocurrencies and blockchain within the country in attempt to resist strict crypto regulations in China and South Korea.
